How long is the service? It’s nice to know how long a service typically runs so people can plan accordingly.
What about kids? Visitors with children like to know what to do when they first walk in—should they head to the kid’s classrooms or bring them into the main service? Also, they want to know what kind of care their child will be receiving.
What’s the service like? Let people know the style of music, whether the service is formal or informal, and other details so they know what to expect. Try to make these details reflect the mission and values of your church.
How do people normally dress? People feel more comfortable in a new place when they don’t feel like they stand out.

What to Expect on a Typical Sunday

Where do I go?

When you arrive, make your way in. Feel free to use the front (roadside) entrance, or use the double door entry by the parking lot (more commonly used).

How about youth?

If you come early for Sunday School for all ages (we hope you do), all classes for them are in the Youth Wing. If you are here for the worship service, come on into the auditorium and grab a seat. No doubt you will meet some great people on the way in.

What is the service like?

We are committed to bringing glory to God and being firmly grounded in God's Word in all that we do. We infuse our services and preaching with lots of Scripture and enjoy fresh, blended worship and strong, biblical preaching and teaching.

What should I wear?

Some dress up, some don't, and we have everything in between. Aside from instruction on general modesty, the New Testament doesn't focus on it, so neither do we.

How long is the service?

Our Sunday morning service begins at 10:45 and concludes around noon.

More About Kids & Teens

Can my kids stay with me?

We love to see families stay together for the entire worship service. We believe that having our youth present in worship with us is a sign of a healthy church, so we don't mind a little noise. We figure it is par for the course. Kids are always welcome to sit with you for the entirety of the service. (See below for info on nursery and children's church if you are interested in that.)

And if my child is a little too energetic?

Feel free to take children out to the Fellowship Hall (off the rear of the auditorium). You will still be able to watch and listen to the service through the glass or on the TV on the wall.

Is there a nursery?

Yes. Our nursery workers care for children 2 years old and under.

Do you have a youth group?

Yes. Our teens, grades 7-12, meet Sunday mornings from 9:30-10:15 and Wednesdays from 6:45-8:00 pm.

Do you have children's church?

We do. It is available for kids age 3 to 5. Your child will stay with you in the auditorium until just before the sermon starts and then they will be dismissed as a group. (CURRENTLY SUSPENDED)
